Paleolithic Diet: Day 36 – To Milk or Not To Milk!?

Well.. curiosity has gotten the best of me. I’ve purchased grass-fed whole milk to try. The theory is that those who are lactose intolerant… are so due to the process of homogenizing milk. Homogenization alters the proteins found in milk, making it almost entirely impossible to digest in a healthy human body.

I’m very sensitive to dairy. So for me, this test will be quite quick and easy :) I shall post my findings in tomorrow’s food log.

As well as whole milk, I’ve also purchased raw, whole milk, mozzarella cheese. I love cheese, always have. So why not try it? The only aspect concerning me with cheese is… it’s not that paleo and the salt may be an issue. Only one way to find out!

OH! And a side note * for those who have never tried coconut bread… DO IT! It is AMAAAZING. It is the most delicious “Bread” I’ve ever had in my entire life. No sugar, no salt, no crap. Just coconut flour, coconut oil, 6 eggs, and honey if you so desire. Bake and devour! … oh lord, can we say sex on my tongue? Throw some coconut butter ontop of you’ve got yourself a whole mouth-orgy of moist flavorful goodness!!!

Snack: 2 Pears

Dinner: 3 Course Meal:

- 2 Pears

- 2 fresh Barhi Dates (mmm sweet butter)

- Mixed Salad w/ blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, avocado, grass-fed goat’s milk Feta and Orange Juice

- Mini-Paleo Loaf w/Catsup

Snack: Coconut Bread w/ Coconut Butter (heavenly) with a small glass of whole milk.

- Wild Caught Halibut and 1 Egg w/tzatziki

- Mixed Salad w/ wild blueberries, 1 pear, grass-fed goat’s milk Feta and Orange Juice

- LARABAR – Cherry

- 3 dates
